Mamta Scheme for girls, mothers financial amount


Description

Under this scheme, the financial incentives to mothers who deliver a girl child. The scheme will be implemented through the centrally sponsored Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS). This scheme has been initiated in order to improve the male-female sex ratio.

Objective

  • To improve the male-female sex ratio.
  • To encourage the birth of Girl Child
  • To promote the girl child.

Eligibility

To avail the benefits under this scheme, the following criteria should be fulfilled:

All mothers who have delivered a live girl child (maximum 2 deliveries) in a registered medical institution in the State of Goa, Or at the hospital as per of their social/economical status.

Beneficiaries

All mothers who have delivered a live girl child (maximum 2 deliveries)

Benefits

The financial incentive of an amount of Rs. 5000/- per month is given to the beneficiary mothers.
