Awards for Rural Adolescent Girls who tops three rank positions in matric exam

Under this scheme the awards are given to the rural girls who got top three rank positions. This scheme has been initiated in order to encourage and empower rural girls to pursue the higher education.


The objectives of this scheme are summarised as below:

  • To encourage rural girls to pursue the higher education.
  • To protect the girl child’s fundamental rights relating to life, health, education, psychological well being and economic empowerment
  • To empower girl children socially and financially.


The following conditions should be fulfilled to avail the benefits under this scheme

  1. The girl children should have passed their matriculation examination conducted by Haryana State.
  2. Education Boards from schools in rural areas are eligible.




The awards are given to the top three girls from each block.

The 1st Rank holder will be awarded Rs.2000/-.

The 2nd Rank holder will be awarded Rs.1500/-.

The 3rd Rank holder will be awarded Rs.1000/-.
