Description

Under this scheme, In some institutions especially in technical and professional courses, a study tour is compulsory. Since most of the SC students may not be able to afford to go on such tours by spending the required amount of money, the Government has introduced this scheme.

To give financial assistance to the students.

Scheduled Castes.(S.C.) students

Benefits

The Government of Karnataka sanctions Rs. 500.00 per student to undertake the compulsory study tour. In addition, the student also gets Rs. 500.00 Under the Post-Matric Scholarship for a study tour, therefore, making the total to a maximum of Rs. 1000.00 per student.
