Mr Siddaramaiah is the Current Chief Minister of Karnataka.

Mr Siddaramaiah was born on born in 12 August, 1948 siddaramana pit village in Mysore district

Political career

Early Political career

in 1980 Mr Siddaramaiah contested Lok Sabha election first tiime .But he lost the election. Elected to the Karnataka Assembly in 1983 on the ticket of Lok Dal party.

He was elected to the Karnataka Assembly (the member of the legislative assembly (MLA)) in 1983, 1985, 1994. In 1999, the Janata Dal split, then Siddaramaiah joined Janata Dal Seculare(JDs).

He was the animal husbandry, sericulture Minister in 1985

As Chief Minister of Karnataka

In 22 July 2006 he joined indain Nation Congress.

INC won 2013 Assembly Election and formed the government under the leadership of Siddaramaiah on 13 May 2013. Siddaramaiah took charge as the Chief Minister of Karnataka
