Swami Vivekananda Post- Matric Merit Scholarship Scheme is for those students who are from general poor family, who have passed in standard 10th from government school with first class and entered in 11th standard. The student should have passed the 11th standard with first class. The annual scholarship is given to such students.

Objective

To encourage girls and boys to attend school and to receive education.

To reduce the drop-out rate from school.

Eligibility

The Eligibility Criteria is bellow:

  1. Students from general poor family, who have passed in standard 10th from government school with first class and entered in 11th standard.
  2. Student should have passed the 11th standard with first class and studying in 12th standard are eligible under this scheme.
  3. The annual family income from all sources should not be more than Rs 54,000/-.

Female and male students from poor families, studying in 11th and 12th class

Benefits

The financial assistance in the form of the annual scholarship of Rs. 550/- is given to girl student and Rs. 500/- is given to the boy student.This scholarship is given only when they satisfy the above eligibility criteria.
