Mid-Day Meal Scheme MHRD for Nutrition Support to Primary Education in India

The Mid Day Meal Programme was introduced in 1995 to provide a cooked noon meal to primary school children of all Government and Government aided Schools studying in Class 1st standard to 5th standard all over the State for 210 working days in a year. The scheme aims to increase the enrolment and reducing the number of school dropouts while also improving the nutritional status of the children.
To improve the nutritional status of school-age children nationwide
All Primary school children of all Government and Government aided Schools studying in Class I to V all over the State are eligible for this scheme

This scheme provides a cooked noon meal to primary school children of all Government and Government aided School in India
How To Apply
To avail the benefits under this scheme, Enroll/By admission in any Government or Government recognised School Student.
